Anchorage Wedding: Sara + Matt

December may be one of the coldest months in Alaska, but that didn't stop this power couple. Friends and family gathered at Settler's Bay Lodge in Wasilla, AK for beautiful (but quick!) outdoor ceremony in the snow.

Sara and Matt chose a beautiful winter blue color and stuck with an appropriate Christmas theme for their wedding. Sara was simply stunning in her gown and Matt's blue vest really popped against all that snow.

Sara braved the cold in her strapless gown and ended up with some of the most amazing winter wedding photos I've ever seen.  Samantha from Sugar Six Photography braved the cold as well to get some of these beautiful shots for your viewing pleasure.

The perfect favor idea for an outdoor winter wedding? Mittens! The guests loved these (and sure appreciated the thoughtfulness!)

Sara and Matt created fun a fun little mad-libs game that the guest had waiting for the at their seats. It truly was such a fun day!

As the sun was setting, Samantha grabbed the bride and groom and ran back out in the cold for some sunset and sparkler pictures. I'm so glad she did cause these are some of my favorite shots from the whole day!

It was such an honor to be a part of Sara and Matt's wedding. Thanks to all of the many people who helped make this day truly special for this beautiful couple.

Anchorage Wedding: Pam + Eugene

From the very first day I met Pam, I knew her wedding was going to be one for the record books. She was fun, creative and very organized.  Her love for Eugene was undeniable and I couldn't wait to be a part of their special day.

Pam and Eugene tied the knot at the astonishing Hotel Captain Cook in downtown Anchorage. Over 100 of their closest family and friends were there to witness the beautiful ceremony and partake in the evenings festivities.  This diamond filled event was captured by the amazing Jessica of Jessica Elle Photography.

The ceremony was absolutely breathtaking! The aisle was covered in rose petals and the floral arrangements on stage were just to die for.

The small details really pulled the whole look together. Pam had these little individual tissue packets made for the guest with the sweetest saying on them.

The reception started with the first dance and the party lasted all night!

The cake was the biggest highlight of the night! This amazing masterpiece was made by Midnight Sun Cakery of Anchorage, AK.

It was such a joy to be a part of Pam and Eugene's special day. I wish them nothing but a lifetime of happiness!
